To upgrade your skills, range of weaponary, sniping scopes, damage resistance and explosives attire go to Barracks at the main menu and press R1 to enter the skills page.
Once you have done this you will be able to enhance yourself and your armoury. It will require skill points which can be earned by leveling up. Basic attire will cost only 1 skill point but if you want something thats top ot the range expect it to be worth 4 skill points.
